15 October Hugh played Janacek's Mladi with a group that had performed it 5 years ago.
14th October HUgh played the R. Sugar Frammenti Musicali sextet at a join concert OCMCUCL that he co-organized. It was his performance high point for the year.
12th October Hugh sponsored a bassoon quartet concert at Burgh House by "Reed Rage", including European premiere of "Polar Bears" by W. Gernot which he had co-commissioned.

January 17th Rowena took part in an all-day Cello workshop in Richmind
January 14th and 20th Hugh performed the William Hurlstone Trio for Cl, Bn, Piano in two separate concerts with different clarinet and piano players.
January 9-10 Hugh and Rowena took part in the Music Camp reunion, in Poulenc's Stabat Mater and Prokofiev's Alexander Nevsky suite, Rowena singing soprano and Hugh on 2nd bassoon.

Dec 10 and 19 Hugh sang in carol services in St James Piccadilly with Collegium Musicum
Dec12th Hugh and Rowena sang in the Emmanuel Church's last Alyson Denza concert. Rowena also sang 2nd Soprano solo in a Schütz duo with Dulcie Conway, and Hugh played a Castil-Blaze bassoon trio with the "Blasé Basson Trio" . And we performed the Rosenmüller trio for violin (Rowena) and Bassoon, too.
November 29th Hugh sang with Collegium Musicum an all-Magnificat
concert, whose high points were the C.V. Stanford,
the Victoria, and the Eric Swayne
November 14th Hugh played with the Northern Quintet for the 4-5-yr-olds
at the Rainbow Nursery School. They liked "LIbert Bell"
best of all.
Nov 8th Hugh played in Midsummer Opera (!) production of Aida, his first and probably last experience of Grand Opera.
